The Designers
Raised between Naples, Rome, and Paris, sisters Alessandra India and Guendalina grew up immersed in art, culture, and craftsmanship. Their shared passion for creativity led them to work in the theatre, Alessandra as an actress, Guendalina as a set designer, videomaker, and DJ a background that continues to inspire every piece they create.
What could be more theatrical than a hat? For Alessandra India, each hat is like an actor’s costume: a vessel that invites you to step into a new character, a new story, every time you wear it.
For Guendalina, the rhythms, melodies, and harmonies of the DJ booth subtly influence the shapes, textures, and moods of each hat, infusing EQUIPO creations with a unique sense of rhythm and poetic movement.
Together, they founded EQUIPO by LGF, a name that means “team” in Spanish, reflecting the spirit of collaboration, creativity, and shared vision behind every creation. With EQUIPO, they set out to revive the timeless tradition of hat-wearing, a heritage that has always been part of fashion history, when hats once dictated style and social context, with different designs for every occasion. Their creations celebrate Made in Italy craftsmanship, the singularity of colours, and a delicate naïf touch, blending artistry with elegance, history with contemporary expression, and always a sense of timeless elegance.
